This is a really nice hotel. Top notch facility, welcoming reception area and very helpful staff. The place looks great! The rooms are well appointed, high end surfaces, comfy beds & lots of pillows. The best part is the breakfast that consists of a huge variety of freshly made hot & cold dishes, and fresh breads, fruits, & veggies. We stayed there for 5 days and the menu had some changes every day and the food was amazing. The location is close to the Qoricancha and to the main square. Walkable to anything you want to get to in the main part of Cusco. We'd stay here again and hopefully will soon!

The staff were exceptional in helping us with altitude sickness. They provided free oxygen treatment for 5 minutes whenever we needed it. When it was no longer effective, they arranged for an on-site physician visit. She was crucial in resolving the altitude sickness thru 6 hours of oxygen therapy (she offered meds and diagnostic testing also, but we declined). Having a good restaurant on site was convenient as we didn't have to walk anywhere to find something good to eat. Proximity to Wanchaq Station was also convenient, although altitude sickness prevented us from traveling to Machu Picchu.

We had a friendly check-in process. The location and cleanliness of the hotel was good. Since the hotel is centrally located, we were able to travel comfortably. We needed a computer and the hotel staff said we could use the common area computer in the back. The staff was very helpful. The area around the hotel wasn't too alarming in terms of security since hotel security was waiting outside the hotel gate, but we did feel a little uneasy about the homeless people sleeping in the park while we were walking to the 24-hour supermarket nearby.

Elif

Very close to the Wanchaq station, convenient to go to Machu Puchu early in the morning, by taking a two minute walk across the hotel. Shopping was right across the hotel, very close to restaurant strip, and major attractions in Cusco. Taxis easily available. Breakfast was excellent, with local artists performing music from the Andes. Very polite and courteous staff, very helpful and welcoming. From the outside the hotel might seem unappealing, but when you ate inside, it is quite different.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great. We were really very happy with our stay. I think it was a bargain for the price. It was a really nice stay in a good location. And, an added bonus: the market across the street had the best prices for handicrafts and souvenirs.
